Customization in a solar street-light project is not simply changing the colour of a housing or adding a logo. Roads in different countries have different widths, pole heights, lighting hours, installation methods and acceptance documents, while customers may also specify PV modules, batteries, controllers, photometry and structures. Bosiwei has incorporated these requirements into product confirmation, sample production, batch manufacturing and delivery documents, turning customized products from one-time solutions into engineering products that can be installed, accepted and replenished.
When confirming a customized project, Bosiwei has recorded customer requirements for dimensions, power, photometry, colour temperature, installation interfaces and control methods in specifications, BOMs and sample-approval documents. The relationships between the luminaire housing, PV module, battery compartment, controller, bracket and pole are no longer left to verbal communication. After sample approval, procurement, production, quality inspection and the customer work from the same configuration basis, allowing batches to follow the confirmed standard.
For village roads and remote communities in East Africa, Bosiwei has completed the installation and site-document package for customized products. Distributed lighting points, long transport distances and limited maintenance conditions mean that one model alone is not enough. English specifications, wiring labels, packing lists, installation steps, commissioning requirements and spare-parts recommendations correspond to the actual configuration. CE, EMC, RoHS and SONCAP, PVOC or COC materials are also included according to the product category and destination market.
Industrial parks, warehouse roads and camps in Gulf markets are more sensitive to heat, dust, strong ultraviolet exposure and panel soiling. Bosiwei has incorporated IP protection, thermal design, battery temperature protection, controller operating range, panel cleaning, pole coatings and fastener conditions into the relevant product documents. For customized products for Saudi markets, SASO, Saber and related shipping documents remain linked to the actual model, allowing customers to check the customized configuration, market-entry documents and delivered products together.
Rural roads, tourism roads and community-lighting projects in Latin America often require installation after long-distance transport and repeated handling. Bosiwei has maintained the relationship between customized parts through pole, bracket, luminaire and packing numbers and provided contractors with foundation dimensions, installation angles, photometric files and packing lists. Even when products arrive in separate batches, site teams can verify the parts by their labels, so the customized requirements do not lose their basis during transport and installation.
Remote roads, mines and industrial sites in Australia pay closer attention to pole structures, foundations, wind loads and later replacement. Bosiwei has matched IP and IK protection, coating or salt-spray information, and RCM and other destination-market documents to the customized products. Lithium-battery products are also accompanied by UN 38.3 test materials and SDS or MSDS. Customers receive more than a customized appearance; they receive product documents connected to structure, transport, installation and maintenance.
Municipal roads, campuses and parks in Europe have more detailed requirements for customized lighting performance and document consistency. Bosiwei has prepared basic CE-LVD, EMC and RoHS materials around actual models and matched CB, ENEC or TUV test materials, relevant IEC 60598 safety requirements, and LM-79 and LM-80 performance materials where required. Photometric curves, DIALux or other illuminance calculations, pole foundations, grounding and maintenance requirements correspond to the customized samples and batch products, preventing differences between what the customer approves and what is delivered later.
Customized projects at coastal ports, on island roads and in fisheries parks must also address salt spray, humidity, strong winds and corrosion protection. Bosiwei has recorded the materials and surface treatment of poles, brackets, fasteners, enclosures and battery compartments in the product documents, reviewing applicable conditions against IP, IK, salt-spray tests, coating information, ISO 12944 and C5-M requirements. The materials and structure of a customized product are not supported only by a phrase such as “marine grade”; the basis can be found in the engineering files.
Long-term use of a customized product also depends on whether the same parts can be purchased later. Bosiwei has recorded the actual configuration of each batch through BOMs, specifications, serial numbers, batch records, packing lists and spare-parts lists. When customers replenish or replace batteries, controllers, connectors, brackets or luminaire components, they can continue by the original model and batch instead of describing the entire system again.
Bosiwei has also brought customized battery and controller documents into the delivery system. Lithium-battery products are accompanied by battery-safety documents, UN 38.3 test reports, SDS or MSDS, and applicable IEC 62619 testing or compliance materials. The controller’s overcharge, over-discharge, short-circuit and temperature protection, dimming schedule, communication method and fault records remain clear in specifications or commissioning documents. Special operating requirements raised by the customer can remain consistent across product configuration, commissioning files and later maintenance.
Wholesalers, distributors and OEM/ODM customers pay particular attention to whether a customized product can be reproduced consistently. Bosiwei has connected sample approval, material procurement, production inspection, packing and spare-parts supply. The same customized product retains a clear specification and configuration relationship between batches. Customers can continue using existing installation experience, sales materials and stock parts, rather than seeing customization become a one-time project that cannot be continued.
Jiangsu Bosiwei Optoelectronics Group covers solar street lights, LED road lights, high-mast lights, garden lights, smart poles, landscape lighting, traffic signals and related poles. Through continuing overseas project delivery, Bosiwei has connected customer requirements, product design, sample approval, photometric calculations, certification documents, batch production, packing and transport, and later maintenance. For engineering, export, wholesale and OEM/ODM customers, customization is no longer only a special model; it is a product relationship that can enter a project and continue to be delivered.
The value of solar street-light customization is not that the product looks different. It is that customer requirements can be recorded accurately, produced consistently, delivered completely and maintained later. Bosiwei has built these requirements into the product and its documents, so customers receive not only one sample but a solar-lighting product that can be installed, accepted, replenished and operated over time.
