Once solar street lights enter a project, customers usually care less about the parameters on a factory brochure than whether the delivered products match the approved configuration. If the luminaire power, PV module, battery, controller, bracket or pole changes during production, installation, commissioning and maintenance may all be affected. Bosiwei has brought these details into configuration confirmation, production records and pre-shipment inspection, giving every batch a basis that can be checked.
During project confirmation, Bosiwei has recorded the customer’s requirements for luminaire power, photometry, colour temperature, lighting hours, installation method and operating environment in specifications and BOMs. PV-module dimensions and power, battery type and position, controller dimming method and protection functions are confirmed together with the luminaire and pole configuration. The purpose is practical: sales, procurement, production, quality inspection and the customer work from the same product information, reducing errors caused by verbal communication.
After sample approval, Bosiwei has transferred the sample’s key parameters into batch-production documents. Housing structure, mounting holes, wiring method, battery-compartment dimensions, controller interfaces and bracket specifications follow the approved version. When alternative materials are involved, their model, performance and interface are recorded so that an unplanned substitution on the production floor does not make the batch different from the approved sample. For engineering customers, this consistency is more important than adding another marketing parameter.
Incoming material status also affects the finished product. Bosiwei has included PV modules, batteries, controllers, luminaires, connectors, cables, brackets and fasteners in batch management. Before assembly, model, quantity, appearance and interfaces need to correspond to the production documents. Key components such as batteries and controllers retain their model and batch information. If an issue appears later, after-sales staff can identify the relevant part instead of starting from the entire system again.
During assembly, Bosiwei has made wiring, sealing and installation interfaces practical inspection points. Connections between the PV module and controller, battery polarity, luminaire-controller interfaces, cable fixing and waterproofing all affect system operation. Housing seals, connector positions, battery-compartment fixing and bracket fasteners cannot be judged by appearance alone. After assembly, the relevant records remain linked to the product model and batch.
The controller is not a minor component that can be ignored. Bosiwei has included dimming schedules, lighting modes, overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, short-circuit protection and low-voltage protection in product documents and commissioning work. For lithium-battery products, battery-safety documents, UN 38.3 test reports, SDS or MSDS, and applicable IEC 62619 testing or compliance materials are prepared for the actual product. Customers receive more than a lamp that turns on; they receive a system whose operating logic and protection functions can be explained.
Before shipment, Bosiwei has brought product inspection down to executable items. Luminaire appearance, mounting holes, wiring ports, PV modules, battery compartments, controllers, brackets and packing labels are checked against the packing list and product documents. Photometric files, installation instructions, commissioning materials, warranty documents and certification materials required for the project are also organized by model, preventing documents from being separated from the goods or different versions from being mixed within one shipment.
For village roads and remote communities in East Africa, Bosiwei has included English specifications, wiring labels, installation steps and spare-parts recommendations in the delivery files, allowing site teams to perform basic installation and checks according to the documents. Gulf projects pay attention to heat, dust and panel soiling, so IP protection, thermal design, battery temperature protection and panel-cleaning requirements are stated in the product files. The useful proof of environmental adaptation is not a slogan; it is whether site teams can find the correct model, part and handling method.
For municipal roads, campuses and parks in Europe, Bosiwei has linked photometric curves and DIALux or other illuminance calculations to specific luminaire models and prepared CE-LVD, EMC, RoHS, IEC 60598 and, where required by the project, CB, ENEC, TUV, LM-79 and LM-80 materials. For coastal or high-wind environments, poles, brackets, fasteners, coatings and salt-spray information are also checked by product. Certification names cannot replace product documents; what matters is whether the files correspond to the batch received by the customer.
Packing is also part of engineering delivery. Bosiwei has maintained the relationship between luminaires, PV modules, batteries, controllers, brackets and poles through packing labels, serial numbers, packing lists and batch records. When products are shipped in separate lots, contractors can verify quantities and components against the lists. When batteries, controllers or connectors need replenishment or replacement later, they can be found by the original model and batch instead of requiring the entire system to be described again.
Jiangsu Bosiwei Optoelectronics Group covers solar street lights, LED road lights, high-mast lights, garden lights, smart poles, landscape lighting, traffic signals and related poles. Bosiwei has connected project confirmation, sample records, BOMs, incoming-material batches, production assembly, functional checks, pre-shipment inspection, packing files and after-sales traceability. For engineering, export, wholesale and OEM/ODM customers, these tasks may be less visible than a striking parameter, but they directly determine whether the product can be installed and used after reaching the site.
The quality of a solar street light is ultimately tested after it leaves the factory. Bosiwei has transferred approved customer configurations into every batch, recorded key components and documents, and turned pre-shipment checks into work that can be executed and traced. Customers receive more than a luminaire; they receive a solar-lighting product with a clear configuration, matching parts, complete files and the basis for later maintenance and replenishment.
